Nestled in the foothills of San Luis Obispo, this 45-acre multi-sports use area is one of Cal Poly’s crown jewel facilities. It has specific, dedicated athletic venues within one multi-sport complex that was integrated into a land-locked, established campus. 

Tested with political, environmental and design challenges at every turn, our design group remained dedicated to uncovering the smart, cost-effective solutions that made this project possible. Blair, Church & Flynn staff worked closely with project architects on the Environmental Impact Report and site master plan. Ultimately, the design team prepared construction plans for the Baggett and Janssen stadiums, soccer fields, spectator bleachers, restrooms, concessions, and access roads, as well as grading and draining design and landscaping and irrigation systems.
